You're working the roster table. Do you work at most of the games?

Football's a big thing in Pleasantville. They have pre-dinners, they have post-dinners, they sell merchandise. It brings the community together also.

Do they recruit parents to do all that at the beginning of the year?

Yep. You sign up. And they try and get some of the junior moms and the sophomore moms involved. The parents get to know each other as well. It's a great thing. It's not just for the kids, it's for the parents, too.

Does it take certain kind of social person to be able to do this kind of work?

You know what, everyone helps out. Everyone puts a lot of effort into it. It brings the best out in everyone.

Once the game starts how much do you pay attention?

I have learned the game of football inside and out. Yes I'm thrilled and excited and proud that my son is doing so well, but I've gotten to know the game of football.

Are you calling out plays to the coach yet?

(Laughing) I'm not quite that good, but I am getting to know the game, I really am.
