Five school districts in Westchester could receive 9 percent cuts to their 2008-09 state aid under Gov. David Paterson's proposal to slash spending throughout New York. Those districts are Harrison, Edgemont, Pocantico Hills, Hendrick Hudson and White Plains. Yonkers would receive an $8.3 million cut, or nearly 4 percent.
In Putnam, Garrison would sustain the largest percentage cut while Nanuet in Rockland would receive a 9 percent cut under the proposal. This database shows the proposed cuts for every school district in New York.
